Dearest Sophie, 

From Macaulay Culkin to Kiefer Sutherland, from Back the The Future to pub quizzes, everything was always so fun with you. I miss our long, comfortable chats, setting the world to rights. I miss our randomness, our silliness, the ease and safety between us. 

I can’t believe I won’t see you again: you seemed like such a permanence in my life. Our friendship was a rock and I knew it would endure a lifetime, but i expected to have much longer.

I’ll think of you and your infectious laugh, your strength, your kindness, your humour, forever.
